What would happen if an American city decided it no longer wanted to be part of its assigned state? Could it just leave? Could it join up with a different state? Could it become its own nation?? That's (kind of) what happened in the tiny village of Winneconne in central Wisconsin, circa July of 1967! Sarah & Joe, having just returned from a brief visit to the cheese empire, delve into the wacky aspects of city secession, appointing a new cabinet, designing a national flag, and annexing nearby towns.
